Composition

Bestfresh SV Preservative Free Lubricant Eye Drops
Each mL contains:

• Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium USP 10 mg (1%)

Pharmacology

Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium increases tear viscosity and pseudoelastic properties. It has mucoadhesive properties similar to mucin in the tear film, helping prolong retention time on the eye and relieve symptoms of tear deficiency.

Indications

Temporary relief of:

• Burning
• Irritation
• Eye discomfort due to dryness
• Exposure to wind or sun

Dosage & Administration

Instill:

• 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed
• Or as advised by a registered physician

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any ingredients.

Side Effects

Reported side effects include:

• Visual disturbances
• Ocular discharge
• Eye itching (pruritus)
• Eye irritation
• Burning/discomfort
• Palpebral/conjunctival hyperaemia

Warnings & Precautions

Other eye medications should be used:
