Composition

Each mL contains:

• Travoprost USP 0.04 mg

Pharmacology

Travoprost is a prostaglandin analogue that lowers intraocular pressure (IOP) by increasing aqueous humor outflow, mainly through the uveoscleral pathway.

Indications

Used for reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in:

• Ocular hypertension
• Open-angle glaucoma

Dosage & Administration

• One drop in the affected eye(s) once daily
• Preferably in the evening
• Or as advised by a physician

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to any ingredient.

Side Effects

Common side effects include:

• Brown iris pigmentation
• Increased eyelash growth
• Conjunctival hyperemia
• Dry eye
• Eye discomfort
• Skin hyperpigmentation
• Prostaglandin-associated periorbitopathy (PAP)

Warnings & Precautions

Use cautiously in patients with:

• Uveitis or intraocular inflammation
• Risk factors for macular edema

Additional precautions:

• Remove contact lenses before use
• Reinsert after 15 minutes

Pregnancy & Lactation

Use during pregnancy only if benefits outweigh risks.
Caution is advised during breastfeeding.

• Store below 25°C
• Protect from light
• Keep in a dry place
