Composition

Vigalon Sterile Eye Drops: Each mL drops contains Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride USP equivalent to Moxifloxacin 5 mg.

Preservative: Product is self preserved.

Pharmacology

Moxifloxacin active in vitro against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative ocular pathogens, atypical microorganisms and anaerobes. It works against topoisomerase II and topoisomerase IV.

Indications

Bacterial conjunctivitis, Blepharitis, Blepharoconjunctivitis, Corneal ulcer.

Dosage & Administration

Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 3 times daily for 7 days.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Moxifloxacin or any other components of this product.

Side Effects

The most frequently reported adverse reactions are eye irritation, dry eye, eye pain, ocular hyperemia, ocular discomfort, ocular pruritus and subconjunctival hemorrhage.

Precautions

Not for injection. Avoid contaminating the applicator tip with material from the eye, fingers or other source.

Use in Pregnancy & Lactation

Use during pregnancy and lactation only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus or infant.

Storage

Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
